Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree cum laude in Theatre and Communication. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. This included acting as well as directing in more than 20 musicals. The productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started landing TV and film roles as she continued to study in improvisation and with The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her voice is distinctive and her diminutive size allows her to be able to play many characters. The actress is well known for her work as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara on The Ring 2 but is most well-known for her role as the bright and bubbly receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a TV Land Regular on the series between 2011 and 2015, appearing as an attorney in the daytime and an evening party-goer. Additionally she appeared as an Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she was the charming sassy younger sibling of Alyssa Miano. She also played the suburban mother who is over-stressed in CW No Tomorrow. Sopranos voices have been featured in a variety of cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Most recently she can be known as the dim, but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She has a private life that is quite quiet, with two children younger than five years old. She enjoys sewing and writes and is a volunteer for various school functions.
