Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on February 5 1964. She is an American actor best known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are vulnerable. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father, Romulus Linney was a playwright. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. Later she completed a M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City, 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway, earning accolades for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
